Wow! When I was first asked to review the Maya Wrap baby sling I realized I was a walking testomonial to it's incredibly versatile and useful nature every single day. My son is now 2.5 years old and we still use our Maya Wrap almost every day. I honestly don't know what we ever did before I discovered this baby sling. Oh - wait a minute! I DO remember! A Note About Maya Wraps and Sizing

The Maya Wrap baby sling is a one-size fits most baby carrier. A size Medium Maya Wrap will fit the majority of parents, both moms and dads alike, of average build from 5' to 6' tall. Even if dad is larger than mom, he won't need the longer tail for nursing coverage, and so this excess fabric is used to increase the size of the sling. Mothers that are NOT breastfeeding will not need necessarily require a smaller size. A Medium will work, as the extra tail fabric can be still be used as a light-weight cover up, for sun protection, or for dad to use the sling. We stock the majority of color ways in the Medium size, and unless indicated otherwise, all colors are in stock in this size.

A select few fabrics of the Maya Wrap are available in the Small and Large size (Olive Green, Solid Natural, Solid Black). The only difference between sling sizes is the length of the tail - each sling is approximately 6" longer or shorter than the previous size. A nursing mom that is above 6' and who will be using the tail of the sling for coverage, or larger-sized moms and dads may prefer a Large. Petite users can make a Medium-sized sling as short as they like because the Maya Wrap is not padded in the rails, however, a smaller user (under 5') may still prefer a smaller size - especially if not breast feeding - to have a shorter tail.
