The soft headrest is ideal for an infant that requires extra head support, as well as for an older baby that likes to fall asleep inside the baby carrier. A Mei Tai can do it all! This is an ideal carrier as you can use this baby carrier with a newborn or toddler. A newborn or young baby without complete neck control will have ample head support, while an older baby can easily see out over the top of the carrier and even has his hands free, if they prefer. Just turn up the bottom strap for a baby that wants to see out and about.
